EpicDice announced "Proof of Brain Bounties" about 3 weeks ago, and even though the official announcement covers literally all the details you need to know, I will try to explain these things even further, and more in-depth. After reading this, you will know exactly everything about it, and also know what type of content EpicDice has been rewarding the most, so far.
I understand that not everyone is a gambler. I also understand that some people might be skeptical and I certainly understand that not everyone is willing to risk their hard-earned Steem. EpicDice "PoB", might actually be exactly what you are looking for, if you have been looking for a way to earn tokens without the risk of losing Steem.
You might already have seen this, but I figured I'd share it one more time in case someone missed it. This explains the different prizes you can get. Anything from 1K tokens to 100K. A huge difference, but also a really good opportunity for content creators to earn EPC tokens while doing something they already do. Create content.

Copied from the official post.
Overall impression of quality is based on the reach of post, comments and comment content, originality and creativity of information, grammar/technical errors. Plagiarism or rephrasing are big bad factors to pull the grade down.
Tips for hunting the Extraordinary grade:
Hunter have at least 500 followers. Post contains minimal or zero errors and be at least 500+ words long. Properly present at least one link to EpicDice and one relevant graphic.. Full display of original and creative thought without copy/paste information from other content creators. Post must also worth at least $20 and 5 comments from unique users.
Note that all of the above is from the official post of EpicDice and that they might change things going forward. They haven't mentioned that as far as I know, but one can obviously understand that these things might change depending on the results. (For instance, if hundreds of articles are being produced, they might have to change some of the rules for the PoB.)

Who Gets What?
I am sure you've heard the expression "quality is in the eyes of the beholder", and with these rules and guidelines, that is still a factor you need to consider when you publish your content. I say content instead of articles or posts, because there are a wide variety of content and EpicDice is very likely to reward users for any type of content.
Some examples of content:
- Articles.
- Email newsletters.
- Social media copy.
- Video marketing/editing.
- eBooks.
- Graphic design.
That being said, it can obviously be difficult to show that you have sent a bunch of newsletters to your email list for instance, but, the point here is to use your brain. If you can somehow figure out how EpicDice would benefit from your content, you are likely to be rewarded for it!
However, to make things as easy as possible, I will talk about some of the articles that received the extraordinary prize last time. By doing this, we dive straight into one of my own articles, and I will try to explain what I, personally, think and how I believe EpicDice are thinking when they reward content creators.
Note: This is based on my own personal experience, idea and how I interpret things.

- Original, Unique & Creative.
Look, EpicDice will not reward you for low-quality or copy/pasted content. The PoB is not a charity event were they just throw away hundreds of thousands of tokens for no reason. They want something in return, and they are looking for exposure. You can see this as a marketing campaign. The more content users produce, the more tokens they will earn... And the word is being spread. It's a win/win situation.

- Minimal or zero grammar/technical errors.

- Original, Unique & Creative.
This post includes relevant graphics as they have used screenshots from EpicDice. It is also original, unique and creative, even though I personally think it would've been even better with an awesome cover for it.
That being said, it is easy to see that different types of content has been rewarded. It's not about who writes the longest article or creates the coolest cover. It's not about the best titles or about the amount of followers you have, as long as you have more than 500. However, you might have more impact and get more comments for instance, if you have a larger audience...
But, this is not a competition.
You don't compete against others. It's okay to write one article even if someone else has been writing 2 different articles per day. How much EPC tokens they earn or are being rewarded for their contributions shouldn't be what you're focused on. People have different approaches. Some will gamble and others will buy tokens. Others might try the PoB-bounties.
The only reason I shared this with you, was to explain how you can get your hands on some EPC tokens without risking a single Steem in the process, (and obviously for the chance of getting my hands on some extra EPC too!). If you decide to write, that's entirely up to you.
Hopefully, you've gotten a better understanding of the PoB-bounties and what type of content EpicDice has been rewarding the most, so far.
