The Epson WorkForce WF-2830DWF is a multi-purpose all-in-one inkjet printer that has great deals of various features but sadly does not perform very well overall. The web page yield of its black cartridge is very bad, so it needs to be changed frequently. The color cartridges do not last long, either. Thankfully, the cartridges aren't very expensive, so the overall cost-per-print isn't too expensive. This printer does publish quite gradually, however, also simply in black and white. On the benefit, it has a flatbed scanner for pictures and an Automated Document Feeder (ADF) to check multi-page documents. It is also quite small, has a reasonable variety of connection options, and its buddy application is excellent.
Although the Epson WorkForce WF-2830 is marketed particularly for office use, it is a bad choice. You will most likely need to change the cartridges frequently since their web page yield is quite bad. There are high-yield cartridges available which should last much longer, but they still might not suffice. The publishing speed is also quite slow. There is an Automated Document Feeder (ADF) to check multi-page documents faster, but it can't check both sides at the same time. And while it has a good variety of connection options, you can't set it up with your network via Ethernet.
The Epson WF-2830's design is alright. The body is made of plastic that really feels durable, so the printer itself really feels sturdy and strong. However, the output tray is slim and lightweight, and the external back input tray does not protect your paper from dirt. It also isn't very easy to open up the back cover to access paper jams, and the printer needs to be powered on reach the ink cartridges. On the benefit, the power line is detachable, so you can easily change it if it obtains damaged. The scanner cover also stays open up by itself, and the joints prolong a little bit so you can check slightly thicker documents.
