Little Life

Steemian friends, today I want to share with you my entry to a very special contest, promoted by @jacinta.sevilla: Easy Mini Art Contest. I do not know if I’m on time, but I will do it anyway because of the importance of the subject.
It is about bees and butterflies. Nice, right? And also important.
Insects represent, as I’ve read, more than 50% of the planet's biodiversity. Butterflies are among the most numerous groups of insects. They participate of pollination, control of pests; and they are food to many birds and mammals.
When this chain is broken, our own life is in danger.
Where there are butterflies, there is a healthy ecosystem.
Many people ignore the importance of butterflies (and bees) the sustenance of life and their actions increase the risk of extinction of many of this species. They contaminate, devastate green areas; they may use pesticides indiscriminately to control their population growth. This is very serious.
But it is also something that does not need anything to help recover these species. Many times we think that we can not do anything, when we can.
How can you help from your little space?

• Research
• Create awareness
• Take care
• Plant appropriate flowers and plants so that butterflies and bees can feed
  Use your abilities and resources to try something to help out.
  Every little life is part of our lives.

I drew butterflies and bees, and wrote a little poem.
