I am a 48 year old divorced woman who was declared insane and lost access to her 3 children in Sept. 2015. My powerful parents worked the system to have me diagnosed and drugged ...... At my low point, my 12 year old son wrote this poem, enjoy and be free.
"ODE To those trying to fit in...
You don't need to change yourself to fit in.
Don't let people change you for themselves,
or try to make you to be like everyone else.
People will try to force you down and
make you lose any thing that makes you, you.
Like a strange machine that creates average members of society by crushing out personality. These
people will disuise themselves as those who care.
Those who wish for you to become normal. They are
like a trap you have to carefully avoid. Don't let these people force you down. Don't let them trap
you and crush you spirit like the breaking of a
horse. Don't let peer pressure and peole judging
you change you. Just be yourself. that is
the only person you should be.
