Turkish painting technique

A beautiful peacock-shaped marble.

It is a paper-marbling technique, it is called "erbu" in Turkey. It is a technique to make a beautiful pattern by dripping colorful inks on a tray with water and mixing them constantly with a water repellent brush without mixing with water.

Once completed it will be transferred to paper and dried, then it will be finished as a work of art.

In this video, you will notice dropping colors of similar randomly on the surface of the water. It is not completed by this, if you stir regularly right and left, it will be like a leaf made from latte art. Even this alone is beautiful, it is wonderful if you combine once with a huge comb and like a snake.

It sounds like magic. Drop some colors there and put a paper on it, a beautiful peacock feather pattern is transferred.

This technique can be used for anything such as a book cover and decorative mount, furthermore memo paper, stationery and, envelopes. Although it is classic, it is familiar all over the world as a technique that does not fade away.

Please check the Rene Eisenbart different Art works. She deliberately repelled the finished pattern, transcribed it as a painting and used it as an accent, showed us the originality of the marbling.

It is a technique that makes art fun and easier with ease. Let's try by all means if you are interested.
