Understanding of Production Forest and Example - Forest is a natural wealth that should be preserved, besides the forest also has many kinds. One that will be discussed is about the production forest and also for example. Forests offer a lot of results and benefits of economic value and also has a primary function that is to produce forest products. The forest is a vast land area and is overgrown with various plants and wild or cultivated trees by the government as well as communities living around the forest. Many production forests provide economic value because it can produce various types of timber that have economic value such as wood resin, teak wood, mahogany, resin gum, rattan and so forth. It is said to be economical because the forest is capable of producing such woods already mentioned above that have a high selling price.

Production forest is a forest area that is retained and utilized as a forest producer and serves to produce forest products for the community and industry and export and associated with forest products. If the production forest is well managed it will produce something better also in generating certain economic value. Understanding production forests and for example, usually more emphasis on forests used to generate profits by selling or utilizing forest products. However, to be able to utilize the production forest must first obtain permission from the government.
