This commonly asked question, varies... Linux has a wide variety of distros to choose from. So depending on whether or not you're a writer, web developer, programmer, or even a hacker there's a distro for everyone so I recommend choosing one that suits you for example. If you want to take down a network you should probably go with something like Kali Linux or parrot security OS. What if you're new to Linux? If that's the case. Then I recommend that you go with something easy to install like Ubuntu. that way you can get a grasp on what Linux can do and the potential it has to complete so much. I guess in the end Linux destroys all of their os's.
