Background
The Moon is setting soon after sunset this week. When I've had time, I've tried to film. Tonight I was ready and set up to grab lots of footage.
The Sky
What was interesting, and post-worthy, was the position of the anti-crespecular rays, post-sunset. There were exactly two of these rays visible in the entire sky. The direction they pointed lay in the path of the setting Moon. This set wasn't moving but slowly fading.
At the point they fully darkened into visible bands of shadow on the sky, the Moon entered the first (left side) column of shadow. As it continued it's movement towards setting, it left the first column back into the light. It then traversed the second column. Because of the angle of the rays and my viewing angle, it appeared as if the Moon went up into the second column, on a diagonal.
As the Moon left the second column the rays faded and disappeared. I snapped a few pictures of the second traversal. The best one is below.
This picture was taken at 7:57 PM ET in Cherokee County, Georgia. The Moon was at approximately 14.4% illumination with moonset at 9:55 PM ET. Taken with my Nikon P900 and these settings: f/2.8, 1/8, 4.3mm, ISO400.

The Esoteric Overlay
I know very little about Kabbalah. Please excuse any misrepresented concepts.
No other rays were visible in the entire sky. The odds that only two rays would be produced in the Moon's path, long enough to be traversed, are astronomical. No pun intended. Realizing that, I immediately saw an expression of the Boaz and Joachim signal.
I then saw the Moon's path as a traversal on the Tree of Life. However, I'm not certain if there's any spirituality to the Moon. That's an entirely different discussion.
In any case here are the three stages, realms, sefirot I associated with what I saw.
Because of the apparent angle of the traversal from my vantage point, I associated the Moon's position with Hod. Wikipedia states:
Hod is where form is given by language in its widest sense, being the key to the "mystery of form".
From there it went up at an angle to the position I associated with Tiferet, the sixth sefira. Paraphrasing Wikipedia, Tiferet is the realm that combines compassion and strength into a unified force. They are both dualistic as they are both expansive/giving and respective/receiving.
To quote the Bahir regarding Tiferet:
Sixth is the adorned, glorious, delightful throne of glory, the house of the world to come. Its place is engraved in wisdom as it says 'God said: Let there be light, and there was light.'"
Finally, it entered Joachim and a position I associated with Chesed. Wikipedia relates Chesed to mercy and kindness. It was at this point the rays disappeared and the sky darkened quickly.
Thoughts
Like I said, I am familiar with a few principals of Kabbalah, but not the workings. For instance, I know there is some art/order behind traversing the sefirot. However, I do not know the directions or connections.
I also do not know if this has meaning, or should mean more. Only time will tell. If you are knowing in these matters, I would love to hear your thoughts. Good or bad.
Thank you so much for reading and have a fantastic End of the World Day 2017! This was very cool to witness and I hope my shot conveys enough light for you to see what I saw.
