All about the Tibetan mantras

Tibet is a unique part of modern human civilization. Skills and knowledge of the Tibetan people is sometimes staggering, and the level of medicine can cure sometimes those diseases against which traditional science, unfortunately, is powerless.

Few people know, but Tibetan mantras, is regarded as one of the components of Tibetan medicine. So they are not only a symbol of the health of the spirit, but also can be cured with proper application of some types of physical ailments.

According to research by several groups of scientists, Tibetan medicine in ancient times exceeds modern traditional. Its occurrence relates to the year 8000 BC. Unlike modern medicine, Tibetan preferred the study of nature, and not the teachings of Western and Eastern trends regarding a particular disease.

Healers of Tibet loved to study the habits and manners of animals, on the basis of which to make conclusions about the benefits of different plants. This knowledge is successfully applied in Tibetan medicine to this day. The Tibetan mantra, considered helpers in the treatment process, but also in the knowledge itself. Because thanks to the intuition and inner knowledge, physicians of Tibet can even refute the diagnoses of modern medicine, which turned out to be less accurate or even incorrect. How does this system - the science is not yet known to the end, but its uniqueness is undeniable.

The difference of Tibetan mantras from the others is considered to be in a very specific effect on the human body. Despite the practical purpose to the Tibetan mantras are the same requirements as the rest of the currents. But there is a striking difference. If the total mantras are sung with a different tone and timbre, the Tibetan mantras should not be sung anyhow. To pronounce them or need to think clearly and intently, spontaneous singing can radically change the effect of the mantra.

Before you start singing one or another Tibetan mantra, it is important to know not only the purpose, but also recommendations to the pronunciation. Many scholars tried to translate the mantras and to understand this meaning. But even this practice a success, unfortunately, failed. Many believe that mantras act on the level of wave fluctuations, which is quite logical. Tibetan mantras are often recommended to combine with the main meditation.

Thanks to this information, you can discover the amazing world of Tibetan medicine and mantras to cure not only the body but also the soul.

Thank you! This information is very useful for me. Have a nice day!

I'm going to look deeper into this later today. I want to know more, specifically how this works, if that is even possible :). But, yes, from my limited understanding is the intention and the repetition with a certain knowing is key. Nice to meet you my friend @adeptus

hello soul sista!
WHY this works i think goes well beyond what science can understand. Certain sounds and words are sacred, and some have also been empowered by great spirits and (in this case) monks to allow others to connect to it when they chant. Its like a telephone line to another vibration!

Hi! It's really true! Many mantras promote spiritual growth and receive high vibrations. This goes beyond the usual knowledge. Energy centres (chakras) must be open to universe :) This contributes greatly to the meditation and chanting of mantras.

Hi @eco-alex thank you for your input. I did do research and wrote a couple of essays on it published yesterday and the day before yesterday as to what the Buddhists actually believe that the chanting purifies the body and mind and certain phrases are the syllables of whatever intention they have. Om Mani Padme Hum being the most important because those 6 syllables contain the entire teaching of the dharma. I broke it done on Wednesday's essay. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Nice to meet you, too! Good luck in your spiritual practices :) Light and love your soul! You will definitely get the desired result @soulsistashakti :)

Hello soulsistashakti, how this works got something to do with 'Naad' the holy (silent sound) vibration within the mind that is created by listening or singing along with devotional music or chanting. When music has this devotional intention and the right sound vibrations to go with it, then we get in touch with this Holy vibration inside our minds which blocks out all other cacophony, inside noise in our minds and brings us to silence. Take a look at my post about the Gayatri for Goddess Lakshmi.

Hey@adeptus! WOW!! First of all, I love the pictures! I've listened to the mantra music, it certainly has a quality to it, like @soulsistashakti I would like to know more about these practices. I've upvoted and following, I look forward to the same. Peace.

Thank you! I wish you good mood!

Powerful stuff!, i testify!

It's true! The tranquility of the mind and the stopping of inner dialogue is the key to enlightenment.

Wonderful post Adeptus,
The Tibetans have so much to teach us. The effects of sound are clearly visible with the study of Cymatics: viewing the effects of a substance like sand on the surface of a plate, diaphragm or membrane which is then vibrated with sound.

Upvoted and resteemed :D

Thank you very much! I wish you a wonderful day and good mood :)

Thank you - you too Adeptus :D

It is my goal to visit Tibet one day!
