Rocas ígneas: intrusivas y extrusivas

 Las rocas ígneas son el producto de la consolidación del magma. Las rocas ígneas extrusivas se forman cuando el magma sale a la superficie de la tierra a medida que la lava fluye o es salpicada hacia el aire y luego se deposita en la superficie para formar capas de rocas piroclásticas. Las rocas ígneas intrusivas se forman cuando el magma se consolida debajo de la superficie de la tierra.
