Many nice words were said about Aretha Franklin and many more will be said in the future. I will add my contribution to the praise that Aretha deserves.
Aretha Franklin was the queen of soul. Aretha was not the queen of just a musical genre, she was the queen of the realm where consciousness connects everything to everything else. Some people call it the metaphysical realm. Some people call it the quantum physical realm.
Aretha Franklin demanded soul respect. This made her a true representation of black people in this territory called the United States. Black people have always been demanding respect in this empire.
Black people told the founding fathers that there is a typo in the founding document. It says all men are created equal, but the founding fathers are not keeping treaties with the natives, black people are not included, even white people with no land are left out of your new empire.
