Please I am patiently waiting for the promised update that can make me use eSteem only. Now I cant upvote, follow or unfollow with mine. I believe I am not the only one this is affecting. You can resort to doing peace meal update instead of waiting for many bug correction before you update. That will keep more people to use eSteem.

    You are right, that's why next week release will come addressing bugs reported by users, proper error message handling, new language updates, additions and couple new features...

    You said it can be used on desktop how? Is there a window version? If yes where can I download it?

      eSteem desktop v1 is available and should be functional after changing websocket address from Settings page to wss://steemd.steemit.com.
      But v2 is in progress which will be announced soon with initial beta release...

      The simpler it is built, the better. Remember that everyone here is not a tech geek. Keep it simple. The issue of changing socket now is not sounding simple to me.

        As I said, it is outdated version wouldn't recommend using it unless you cannot wait v2 :)
