But when the plane arrived at San Antonio International Airport in Texas, the baboon came off its cage,when it will be moved from the trunk area, as reported by New York Post media.
Knowing there is a loose baboon, the airport authorities immediately stop the operation to catch the baboon. As a result, a number of flights was a delay.A number of officers from the zoo were also deployed to capture the baboon. It takes about 1 hour by the airport to normalize the situation.
"Officers from the zoo are on site to ensure the baboon's safety is scheduled to be taken to a conservation center," reads a written statement from the airport as reported by USA Today.
The latest news, Dawkins was being taken to a conservation center in La Salle County, Texas. It's just not known why the baboon can be separated from the cage.
