Panas rembulan di tengah malam Peluh mengalir di balik selimut gelap Lenguh kuda menderapderap Mengayuh waktu sebrangi laut malam

Bintang pagi panduan pelayar malam
Lewati gelombang baru gemerlap
Sentuhan sendu melawan gagap
Tak terasa pinggang remuk redam

Oh, pejalan hati tak harus mengelana
Antara liang insan ke liang pusara
Berbaju matahari bercelana purnama
Lewati padang pasir lembah cinta

Pegunungan duka luka tertawa saja
Pelakon sandiwara merasa biasa
