ACEHSATU.COM | BIREUEN - The Bireuen General Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) Bireuen District prohibits village officials and village heads from serving as elections in the 2019 election.
Bawaslu Bireuen prohibits village apparatus from being officials of the Kecamatan Selection Committee (PPK) and the Voting Committee (PPS) referring to Law No. 6 of 2014 on Village Government as mentioned in article 51 and Law No. 7 of 2017 on election organizers may not concurrently occupy positions.
This was stated by Bawaslu Chairman Bireuen Abdul Majid SH, to ACEHSATU.COM on Wednesday (21/2/2018), when met at his office at Geulanggang Baro, Juang City, Bireuen.
