My Personal Quest to Being Healthy

in esteem •  5 years ago

I was born on a rice farming family living far away from the market so I rarely get to eat pork, beef, and chicken before I turned 15-years old.

A vegetable is the most frequent content of our dining table whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner while fish sometimes fills our table about once or twice a week.

It changed a bit when I was in college and when I got a job after graduating in 2003 the frequency of me eating pork and chicken become almost once or twice a week.

Now, whenever I have eaten pork I felt guilty of harming my body so I am doing my best not to eat pork and chicken that much especially fried ones.

I cannot avoid pork and chicken entirely since my wife and my two sons weren't of vegetable lovers unlike me that was accustomed to it since I was young.

I want to live long enough to guide my two sons so I am doing my best to stay healthy at best.

I am an I.T. professional (Computer Engineer) working in a private company, a blogger, a father and a husband.
