Nelayan pembudidaya ikan kerapu setempat lebih memilih mencari ikan rucah secara mandiri dibandingkan membeli ikan tersebut dari pengepul yang mengalami kenaikan harga dari Rp5.000 per kilogram menjadi Rp10.000 per kilogram karena kurangnya pasokan ikan rucah yang terdampak arus bawah laut musim Timuran.
