Fish is a low-calorie, high-protein food good for the brain. All of these benefits come from omega 3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, popularly referred to as omega 3, which is widely found in fish oil. The human body can not naturally produce omega 3. However, these nutrients are needed by the body to be healthy. The relationship between omega 3 and heart health has long been known to us. However, some new studies show enough evidence that high-fat fish is essential for general well-being. Other fish such as tuna, sardines and halibut also contain high levels of omega 3.
