Dogs of my life

Man’s best friend, everyone has heard of it. I believe that the people who have Dog as their pet are the luckiest people on this earth because no one loves you more the way your dog loves you. I am also one of those lucky people. I am lucky enough to have few dogs in my life and today I am going to discuss about them. (There are few dogs whose picture I don’t have because at that time not everyone had camera or phone with them)

SARJA
I was in Pune and in 8th standard that time when this dog came into my life. My dad (who also loves dogs very much) was sitting outside our house one evening, when he saw some girl abandoning a pup near my place. My dad went there and pick up that puppy and brought inside our house, he was brown in color and was 2-3 months old. He has many ticks in his fur and was very dirty. My dad said as soon as his ticks will be gone he will drop him off somewhere. (because my mom was against it in beginning) Days went by he became member of our family and we decided to keep him with us. As girl who abandoned him used to call him Sarja so we decided to keep that name. Unfortunately one bad day he came back from his morning walk and went to sleep and never woke up. He lived with us for 8 yrs. It was October 8th 2012 morning. I still miss him a lot.

CHOTU
When we had Sarja with us, my dad used to take him to walks. One day during morning walk he found a cute puppy running here and there so he decided to bring him to our house in Pune. He was white in color but later he became golden. We named him Max but one of our neighbor used to call him Chotu and he used to respond to that name, so we decided to call him Chotu only. At that time I was in 11th standard. After a year my dad got transferred to Kanpur we couldn’t leave them behind so we bring them with us to Kanpur. He was full of energy and was very close to my sister and mother, used to hate when anyone hugged him or go near him while he was eating. Whenever anyone goes out from home he never cared but if my mom goes out somewhere then he used to cry and wait for her at gate until he comes back. On 24th August 2017 night he somehow ran away, we searched for him everywhere but couldn’t find him. Next day we found his dead body (he was hit by a vehicle), he lived with us for 12 years. Miss you Chotu.

Junior
One morning I went out to buy bread when I found this cute little puppy. One adult dog was going to attack him that’s when I picked him up. He has ribbon tied around his neck so I thought he was pet of someone, I asked few people but everyone denied so I decided to bring him with me. I sneak him into our house without knowledge of anyone because I thought maybe my mom or dad might scold me for bringing another dog to our house. He had itchy skin with redness all over his body and he was white in color. In the end we decided to keep him with us and I took him to vet to treat his rash skin. He got better ns stronger day by day. He was one the most mischievous dog among all and he was very close to me. He used to sleep with me on my bed and he never mind hugging and sleeping. One day suddenly he started having stroke, we couldn’t understand anything as it was the first time seeing any dog like this. He too him to vet and he told us it is because of some germs attacking his brain and all. We stared his treatment and he used to get these strokes any time of the day or night. One day in January he got strokes back to back, all night he was getting strokes and vets were not available during late night. He got treated next day and unfortunately he lost his memory. In spite of all that we never stop loving him we took very good care of him and he got better. It was April 9th 2017 day of my brother’s wedding also, there were many guest in my house and somebody left the door open and he ran away. We tried to search him for week but couldn’t find him anywhere and he is still missing (not sure if he is alive). He lived with us for 2 years.

In spite of all these dogs I had a dog name Montu whose picture I don’t have , someone gave him poison and he died. He lived with us for 9 months. There are few stray dogs also whom I love and adore and give them food to eat named Rahul(if anyone named Rahul is reading this then I am sorry I didn’t name him), Pinky and Pinky’s 2 puppies, Kids of my colony call them Zoya and Tiger.
