Beberapa ulama dari Jawa Barat datang bersilaturahmi dengan Beliau di Istana Negara, dua minggu kemarin. Kesempatan ini, Beliau lakukan kunjungan balasan. Beliau bertandang ke kantor Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) Jawa Barat di Jalan RE Martadinata, Bandung, tempo hari sore.
Di kantor itu, dengan pimpinan MUI Jawa Barat, Beliau pernah mencermati pajangan sejumlah photo Ketua MUI Jawa Barat dari masa ke masa. Ada photo K. H. Suja'i yang jadi ketua pada periode 1958-1967, K. H. Noer Ali, K. H., DR. E. Z. Muttaqien, K. H. R. Toto Abdul Fatah, serta K. H. A. Hafizh Utsman. Bahkan juga, nyatanya Mayjen TNI H. R. Dharsono juga pernah jadi Ketua MUI Jawa Barat pada periode 1967-1971.
Tidak hingga 1/2 jam mampir ke kantor MUI Jawa Barat, beliau selekasnya berkunjung ke Sasana Budaya Ganesha, menghadiri ULTAH ke-58 Gerakan Mahasiswa Islam Indonesia (PMII).
