President Donald Trump Calls for Action to Syria in a British and French military operation in response to alleged use of chemical weapons in the area of East Ghouta.
"I just carried out an attack on targets related to the Syrian dictator's chemical weapons capability, Bashar al-Assad," Trump said on Friday (13/4).
A US official told Reuters that there were several targets for the attack. Based on this, the US will also use Tomahawk missiles in this operation.
"The purpose of our actions is to provide strong resistance to the production, deployment and use of chemical weapons," Trump said.

Trump later reiterated his protests to Russia and Iran that had been the strongest ally of Assad's regime.
"To Iran and Russia, I ask, what kind of state wants to deal with genocide, women and innocent children?" Trump said.
However, the British Prime Minister, Theresa May, said that the attack was not to overthrow a regime, but the act of cessation of innocent people due to chemical fire.
"This is not a matter of civil war intervention, it's just a problem, it's a matter of limited and targeted attacks that do not increase the tension in the region and one way to prevent civilian deaths," May said.

The French president, Emmanuel Macron, keywords used to prevent the use of chemical weapons.
"We can not tolerate normalization of chemical weapons," Macron said.
The three leaders of this country have already signaled will provide a firm response to the use of chemical weapons mentioned by the Syrian military.
The attack on rebel affairs in Douma, East Ghouta, last week claimed 60 lives and wounded 1,000 others.
