#esteem-feedback WOW the esteem app uses insane amounts of data traffic

First of all
I love the esteem app, everytime im on the bus or have some spare minutes i use IT! And the feedback is usually taken seriously!

Data traffic used by esteem

I couldn't quite figure out why I got such a big phonebill this month, but when I started doing a little research I realized that instead of using my regular data plan and then a little more, which usually ends up around 15-18 gb was madly spiked this month when my total usage was 43gb. Which I was not expecting.

Doing some research on my iPhone I found this:

So pls @good-karma would be really nice if you could see if you can make the app less data reliant so that I can continue to use the esteem app on the go where there's no wifi.

Most data consumption comes from images user uploads through steemit, esteem, busy, etc. Images are not stored on blockchain and loaded from external source causing you to download multiple images when you open any post. We have implemented Fetching images feature that you can disable to save some traffic. Go Settings page and disable it, app will not download images within post automatically. Card view in posts/feed page downloads images but you can change to Compact mode to save more traffic. When you disable Fetching images, images will have default placeholder and you can tap/click on them to download/load them individually. Working on more ways to optimize traffic usage for sure ;)

I will try this for a months time and hopefully I can get the esteemapp to use under 10gb :)
