Travel to Kuching, Sarawak

Hello dear friends, its been more than one month I've been inactive in Steemit. I wanted to post someting but words got stuck in my head and I'm super busy with my study.

Two weeks ago I got my exam result. I'm glad that I passed all subjects and to be one of the top 4 out of 180 students was awesome! Hope I can maintain this awesome until form 5, which is 4 and a half more years to go?

So, what's happening around my world. Hmm.. Let me tell you about my recent trip to Kuching, Sarawak. Last Friday, I and my mom went to Kuching to attend my cousin's wedding. My mom travels a lot and everytime she went for outstations, I always wanted to follow her. I even said she can put me inside the luggage...LOL. I know that she travelled for work purposes, but I kind of not wanted her to go for days leaving behind me and my dad. She is my alarm clock to school, my comfort and everything.

We went to Kuching early morning and didn't managed to have breakfast. My mom was planning to eat at Mcdonald but my Auntie was late ariving at the airport, so my mom bought Dunkin donats and drinks for us to eat inside the plane. The journey to Kuching took about one hour and twenty minutes. Upon arrival, we took a Grab to the hotel to check-in.

We have our free time to wander around the famous Water front area and after that, we went to the Parkson mall for window shopping. I told my mom that my feet hurt because of my uncomfortable shoes, she bought me a new one! I'm glad we went inside the mall as it was super duper hot outside. After wandering for hours in the mall, we went back to our hotel.

On our way back to the hotel, I saw one unique building called The White Barauk. Its a lovely restaurant that serves simple Sarawakian dishes situated by the Kuching River where you can get a view of Kuching city by night.

At about 6.30 pm, we went out for dinner. We walked along the Water front areas until we come to a bridge call Golden Bridge. We walked on the bridge until we reached a resting place which is situated right in the middle of the bridge. There you can see the amazing view of the city.

After going up the bridge, we walked along the Waterfront to hunt for food. Along the walkaway, you can see hawker's stalls, people performing live music and lots more. We even saw Spiderman, Batman and Deadpool. My cousin, Talie commented that the Spiderman was too short and we all laughed.
