Crappy post : Trip to Jogjakarta - Foods

I arrived in Jogjakarta, the city of students at 3.36 am this morning😆. Though we already knew what to do in Jogja, but my hubby is a different kind of traveller. He refuses to make a reservation before leaving and we spent 2 hours to find a hotel near to the source person that I will interview on Sunday.

Just like in other city in Indonesia, you can't order online taxi if you're still in the Bus Station or Airport😉 you need to walk away from the bus station to find your driver. Anyway.. let's left that story for later post😆.

here is the first food I bought while our bus left the pool and picked some passenger at Pasar Jum'at Nus Station, South Jakarta

The rice bars and fried little tofu, sliced mangoes with saltand chili were my lunch menu. Not too delicious but perfect for me. We'll buy another rice bars with oncom filling (I don't like it) and fried tofus again when our bus stopped at a gas station in Indramayu West Java.

here is the restaurant belongs to the bus we took, we have a coupon each to change with food for diner, I didn't take any picture of the food because it's not interesting at all

Next stop is Karanganyar, Kebumen Rest Area about midnight where My dearly @dipoabasch ate a plate of rice with beef steak while I took my time to recharge my handphone and took some pictures for chips lover @donna-metcalfe 😆 You should considering a trip to my country😉.

Rice chips, corns chips, fish chips, mung bean chips, sweet potatoes chips, buffalo skin chips et cetera et cetera... arghh.. you name it😉all are cheap too😂 but the store was closed so I couldn't bought any😊

my favourite😊 not chips but special cube of rice wine, sweet and soft, melt in your mouth😉 though people told me that this food good for diet, I don't believe that at all, coz I have a friend who finally get hospitalized for over-consume this food and ruined her diet

When we arrived, hubby craving for boiled noodles and java coffee, so he got it😆 then after spent a half day sleeping, we were out to meet the camera rental owner. After a short Discussion on our plan to start shooting the scene on sunday then I craved my late lunch.

Few minutes after finished the lunch, off we go to Alun-alun Lor (North Field), the big field in front of the Sultan's Palace. We couldn't enter the palace because its already closing time. So, after taking sometimes to watch kids in school uniform who plays with his bird (that's another story too), I need to recharge my phone again and a restaurant is the best place for it😅 and I don't know what's wrong with my partner, He eats like he never been eating before😯

I just have my lunch 30 minutes before, so I choose a hot spicy drink called "Wedang Uwuh" it is something like spices tea.

Well.. I think that we're gonna spend the night with another cullinary adventure 😅 I'm not kinda of food craver. I eat when I need to eat and taking pictures as many as I can for the stock of creating stories for you is my objectives😄

the taste is sweet, hot and fresh, this drink make your body warmth, a perfect drink after 15 hours on the air conditioned bus
