Doctors Prepared at the Slaughterhouse Anticipate Animal Sacrifice

The Ministry of Agriculture will prepare veterinarians to guard the process of slaughtering animal sacrifices at slaughterhouses (RPH) in Jakarta. In particular, the RPH has been prepared to accommodate the policy of prohibiting slaughter of sacrificial animals near the equestrian site for the 2018 Asian Games.

"Hundreds of our doctors are prepared to guard the cuts, and the cuts must be in the area RPH, we have agreed with the Vice Governor (Vice Mayor of DKI Jakarta Sandiaga Uno) and Mr. Mayor (East Jakarta Mayor M Anwar)," said Minister of Agriculture Amran Sulaiman after reviewing Venue Equestrian in Jakarta Equestrian Park, Jalan Pulo Mas Jaya, Kayu Putih, Pulo Gadung, East Jakarta, Saturday (14/07/2018).

Amran explained the purpose of the veterinarian's preparation to anticipate the spread of the disease by sacrificial animals to the horses that would be used to compete in the equestrian sport.

"This should not be any disease or anything," he said.

Nevertheless, Amran confirmed until now there is no issue of the spread of animal diseases in the JEP region. He also ensures his side continue to oversee and monitor the health issues of horses used for the Asian Games.

"We review daily instead of monthly, we monitor daily, we can anticipate earlier We have been working a year before, this is our team Mr. Fajar has been working for years securely," said Amran.

As is known, Jakarta Provincial Government prohibits mosques within a radius of 1 km from the location of equestrian arena to accommodate and cut the sacrificial animals during the 2018 Asian Games. Provincial Government has also prepared a replacement location.

"If you want to cut we have prepared slaughterhouses (RPH) .If the meat is allowed but can not slaughter animals within a radius of 1 km, which can not fit together, we will be updated with new ingub (instructions governor)," said Head of Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture Agency, Darjamuni, at Equestrian Park, Pulomas, East Jakarta, Wednesday (11/7/2018).
