This is my first post about the history of Teungku chik awe geutah. Its place is not far from my house, about 30 minutes until

there is a native customary house of Aceh that still stands firmly despite its age for hundreds of years. However, behind that many do not know the history of its founder, Teungku Chik Awe Geutah, a scholar who was instrumental in developing the religion of Islam in Aceh. Unfortunately the services of Teungku Awe Geutah are forgotten. No historians have yet recorded the Sufi cleric's narration. Most of them just come to see the charm of Rumoh Aceh, which is still preserved its authenticity until now.

Ini adalah postingan pertama saya yaitu tentang sejarah Teungku chik awe geutah.Yg tempat nya tidak jauh dari rumah saya, kira kira 30 menit udh sampai.

Di Desa Awe Geutah, Kecamatan Peusangan Siblah Krueng, Kabupaten Bireuen, ada rumah adat asli Aceh yang masih berdiri kokoh walau usianya sudah ratusan tahun lamanya.

Namun, awe Geutah, seorang ulama yang sangat berperan dalam mengembangkan agama Islam di Aceh.
Sayangnya jasa-jasa Teungku Awe Geutah seperti terlupakan. Belum ada sejarawan yang menulis riwayat tentang ulama Sufi itu. Kebanyakan mereka hanya datang untuk melihat pesona Rumoh Aceh, yang masih terpelihara keasliannya sampai sekarang!
