hi stemian
how are you all, hopefully healthy and happy always
this time I will explain about portrait photography
Portrait / portrait photography is a photography that focuses on the face as the main focus, applicable to full face area or with other body parts. To get interesting portrait images it takes a lot of things like mastering the camera and its accessories, lighting / set up lighting both indoor and outdoor as well as knowledge of the composition. Here are some effective tips for portrait photography to get the maximum picture:
Focus on the eyes

The eye is a central area of portrait photography because the eyes are able to tell different stories from other parts of the body. If the focus on the eyes sharp then the overall image will look good. Do not focus on other places such as cheeks, lips, hair or chin. Only focus on the eyes, this has also been widely shared by experienced photographers. We can also create a creative effect other than just the subject's eyes looking toward the lens, like looking the other way, either slightly to the left right or down. Watch out if the subject is slightly upward looking because the area under the chin is fatty often make the face look fat. Ideally, the eyes should not be wide-eyed or drowsy, the black eye area should also be in the middle area, not too far to the edge. Some photographers also like to take pictures with the position of the camera is lower than the subject line, both subjects in a state of standing or sitting.
The direction the subject sees is able to exert great influence on the intent that a picture wants to present. Here are some explanations:
2 people see each other: highlight the impression of friendship / intimacy.
The little boy holds a plate of chocolate cake but eyes looking towards the camera gives the impression of inviting the viewer to both enjoy the cake. If the child looks at the cake it will highlight the impression of "passion" to taste the delicious cake.
The subject's eyes look directly at the camera then it will force the viewer's eyes to see directly to the face, then the part needs to appear sharp and interesting as a focal point. Sometimes looking directly into the camera also raises the impression of discomfort / tension. So we also need to be careful of these adverse effects.

Thank you for this.
I haven't done any portraits yet, but I want to give it a try at some point, I'll keep this post in mind when I get started on it.
