For people living on the beach looking for money selling salted fish, almost all coastal residents work as traders and fish finders, but the assumption that salted fish is food made from fish meat is preserved by adding lots of salt and drying it for days. With this preservation method, fish meat which is usually decomposed in a short time can be stored at room temperature for several months, although it usually has to be closed tightly. In addition, the meat of marinated fish will last longer and avoid physical damage due to infestations of insects, flying worms and some other destructive microorganisms. But in general, many Acehnese consume this fish.
