Hello everyone! A good day to all of you eSteemians and Ulogger friends. It's another great day to share my recreation of a beautiful photo image of an extra ordinary living things of Mother Nature into digital cross stitch. This time it's all about a precious looks of a stunning"Golden Jewel Beetle". I hope you like it. Thanks!

Did you know? that the wings of these beetles were once used to create jewelry in Thailand and neighboring countries? In Thailand the beautiful emerald wings of the species Sternocera aequisignata were even used to embroider clothing in court circles. Nowadays collectors still pay a lot of money for these beetles. My work process in collage.

As my usual method on making this digital artwork of mine. First thing to do is download the image, then convert it to a supersize pattern and this time i lessen its colour palettes to 20 colours (normal counts of palettes are in max numbers of 32 palettes) this is more likely an experimentation on what's the result of the image if i reduce the numbers of its colour.

I then, started cross stitching its background with brown colour (i guess its a wilted leaf).

I have made 4 screenshots of my work process on each collage.

And done it beautifully! Screenshot below shows my time worked/finish in 3 hours and 52 minutes, i've done it in short time, simply because i only used 20 colours instead of normal numbers of 32 colour palettes. The result is very good even i reduce its colours.
