Penjemuran buah belimbing biasanya digunakan untuk pembuatan asam sunti. Yaitu suatu bahan yang digunakan dalam setiap masakan Aceh.Belimbing yang masih segar langsung dijemur dibawah sinar matahari sampai berwarna kecoklatan.
