Crypto money may be the beginning of a new era, but for now, the greatest benefit is to pirate pirates. Untraceable structures of crypto money make them the number one target for pepper pirates. Security researchers warn that more malware is being deployed to make crypto money mining on more sites today.
According to Trois Mursch, a security researcher at Bad Packets, nowadays around 50,000 site executives are making crypto money mining for pepper pirates unaware of their visit.
Browsing with the source code search engine PublicWWW showed that 48,953 web sites placed viruses that crypto money mined into their code. Mursch added that 7.368 of these sites are WordPress-based.
