Flowers From The Garden

Fasten your seat belts because this is going to be another flower post. This time I want to show you some unusual flowers from the garden.

Let's start with the gladiolus flowers which are flowering right now. This is just the dark orange but we also have white and yellow. My dark purple, almost black one is not flowering yet.

This is a mix of flowers from seeds and some basil in the back. I bought some seeds in February, it said flower mix and this is what came out. I like it, it's a splash of colour.

This is new, we've never had such a flower, don't even know its name but it's nice.

These are marigolds, I have these at home as well.

This is another unknown flower but I like it. It's good to have unknown species, not just the usual.

Another new entry, although I know this flower from my childhood but have never had it. It's called "tollas celózia" in Hungarian, celosia argentea. It's lovely.

The lovely yellow dahlia and a busy 🐝

And finally the red dahlia from the front yard.

This is it for today and I'm hoping to post a photo of the dark purple almost black gladiolus flowers soon.

Superba gradina ai! Mi te imaginez, stand in gradina cu o ceasca de cafea in fata admirandu-ti florile! 🙂Mi-ai amintit de gradina mamei. Ea avea o gramada de tipuri de flori, printre care si floarea la care nu-i stii numele( ce care urmeaza dupa craite marigold), In zona mea este cunoscuta sub numele de "Carciumareasa"( Zinnia elegans). O zi minunata sa ai!

Multumesc mult Ileana si scuze pentru intarziere. SA stii ca asa e, de multe ori admir florile cu o ceasca de cafea in mana 🙂. E mult de lucru, dar merita.
Multumesc pentru ajutor in ceea ce priveste denumirea florilor, trebuie sa ma documentez si sa invat sa stiu data viitore. Iti doresc o zi frumoasa fara ploaie, daca se poate 😊

Nagyon szépek. Tök jó, hogy ismered a virágokat. Nekünk csak 5 féle van a kertbe, azok nevét még tudom, de amikor az utcán látok egy szép virágot, mindig nyomoznom kell a nevét.
