Surfer 2.2 update & eSteem Token

I've been using esteem surfer for a couple of months.
For the last two days I've been unable to upload any images.
I can find no way in the GUI to see what version I have , nor any way to search
For and/or install updates. If this continues, I will uninstall the
Desktop app and no longer waste time trying to post
On an app that will not allow me to post.

And @dunsky but neither have
Replied. Please advise soon.

Hey Jerry, I don't remember you asking question from me on discord, please tag me next time. Image server seem to have had some issues yesterday, we have fixed it already. App version is on bottom of app in right corner. If you meant for searching content, you can click on search icon on navigation field on top of screen. You can try Ctrl+F to search things from screen. What errors do you get that it won't allow you to post, would you mind sharing screenshot of error or message of error?

I have not tried Partiko so far, but I am happy for the new post promoting and post boosting with eSteem Points (ESTM) feature.
I am currently using eSteem Surfer 2.2.0, and I have not used these features so far, but I will try at least one of them soon. Most likely the boost feature.
The eSteem Surfer 2.2.0 desktop application is currently looks so promising with these features that I will maybe switch from Busy.org to eSteem Surfer. I love the fact that we are earning eSteem Points (ESTM) literally with everything. Even for simply using the application.
But my favorite is commenting, of course. Users are earning 5 eSteem Points (ESTM) for each comment, so this also encourages real, human interaction.
The eSteem Surfer desktop application (and the eSteem mobile application) can be a real community builder in the long term.

We are working web version of Surfer and will roll it out slowly as well, so mobile app, desktop app and web app all will work in harmony.

About boosting feature, we should note that boosted posts will go through review of our human curators if doesn't meet quality criterias then refund happens within 24 hours automatically. Also initially we are rolling out boosting of posts which is made via eSteem apps, if you boost your post you submitted from steemit or other interface, you will likely get refund within 24 hours.

Of course, the posts need to meet some quality standards. It is totally/absolutely understandable. But can we read more details about these quality criterias? Just to know what are these quality criterias exactly. If the description is well detailed, then the users will know what to boost, and what not to boost.

LOL I don’t deal with ifs I live in the right now so I’m going with eSteem and their token it could be a mistake but as for superior experience I’m already sold on this app!

My engagement and joy of the platform has gone up 10 fold and to me that’s more important

Check the Github page of eSteem 2.2.0. Scroll down to "Assets", then select the proper file to your operating system. There are files for Mac, Windows and Linux. And the source code is also available, because eSteem is an open source project.

Hi,
Yes you don't need points for posting. Scheduling and everything works out of box, points are extra rewards you can mine using eSteem. And you can use ESTM points inside eSteem, for promoting post, boosting post, you can even gift ESTM to any other users.

I've just installed it on Ubuntu and looking good. I did notice on the points tab the tip on the post icon is the same as the one for share. I'll look out for any other issues. Just exploring what I can do with boost and promote.

I am currently using the esteem app v2 (early access) with this comment. I assume I did got that right. There were two similar apps of esteem, the other one has "mobile legacy" in it if I'm not mistaken. I installed this one to see what's in it using esteem app once again. I tried it before and it was all over the place. It was probably the previous app.

With this I've seen some improvements though I still saw some cons and hassle to user experience but most were comprehensive. I think, it needs to be more responsive as it should provide better user experien

After a gap of two day of absence from Steemit when I came to post today through Esteem, that was the first prompt shown that - NEW VERSION IS AVAIALABLE - down load now. Infact I was and am happy as from my first week in steemit onwards esteem was my favorite.

Hope our life becomes more easier and convenient with this new version.
