When we are talking about having faith in God's Word and getting the Word of God in you, we are simply saying that if the Word of God abides within you, then you have the faith of God in you, because
God's faith is in the Word.
In other words we get God's faith out of His Word because He filled His Word with faith. But Jude is talking about our faith. He's not talking about God's faith, but our own faith. In other words, that faith that you and I received from the Word of God becomes our individual faith. It is in us. It is ours to use. He tells us to build up ourselves on our most holy faith by praying in the Holy Ghost.
You could have faith inside you and still not accomplish one single thing—unless you have faith in the faith that is in you, faith enough to cause you to act.
You could have money but if you didn't have faith that somebody would accept that money in exchange for groceries, you might starve to death with a purse or billfold full of cash. In order to benefit from all the money you have in your
possession, you must have faith enough in that money to use it to buy the things you need.
