The giant social networking company, Facebook, finally really penetrated the crypto money business by launching "Libra".
Users of Facebook.Inc services, including WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger, can be traded with Libra starting in early 2020. However, it has not been clearly published simultaneously in the whole world or gradually in several previous countries.
Libra can be used to buy goods or send money to fellow users without charge. This crypto currency can also be exchanged for real currency or through offline shops.
Users can then save it in a digital wallet made by Facebook called "Calibra". This service will be embedded on WhatsApp, Messenger, and Facebook.
About privacy, no need to worry. Calibra does not mix personal data on Facebook with Libra transactions. The user's identity is hidden, so they can transact with pseudonyms and be free from targeting Facebook ads.
Libra will not be fully controlled by Facebook as a creator, given a special organization called the Libra Association. Where there are representatives from Visa, Uber, and Andreessen Horowitz, each of whom must invest as much as 10 million US dollars (Rp 142 billion) for this project.
This organization will launch "Libra Blockchain" and an open-source developer platform with a programming language called "Move"
They will also approve the business to accept Libra as a transaction tool and even provide discounts or gifts to customers, approved by KompasTekno summarizing from Tech Crunch on Wednesday (06/19/2019).
Later there will be more companies joining the Libra Association.
Some of them include PayPal, MasterCard, Booking Holdings, eBay, Lyft, Spotify AB, Vodafone Group, including non-profit institutions such as Women's World Banking and Creative Destruction Lab. [source](https://amp.kompas.com/tekno/read/2019/06/19/10533137/facebook-l Launch-mata-uang-kripto-libra)

Hello my dear @f21steem, thanks for sharing. I have to tell you to get to this publication thanks to the reference of our friend @crypto.piotr.
Apparently everything that is happening lately is a good sign for cryptography, BTC exceeded the figure of $ 9,000, facebook ventures into the business of cryptos, while we in steemit somo stestigos HF21, which for many is a bad news, many changes are taking place and the cryptographic world is moving, hopefully everything will be for the better.

Make people need Bitcoin as a warehouse for investment and storage because of its fluctuating nature. Although its value continues to decline, there are still many who believe that Bitcoin is digital gold

That's right, brother, there are a lot of people who trust in BTC and if they're investing in this.

Hi friend @f21steem. Just yesterday I made a publication in Spanish where I'm talking about this new Facebook foray. Well we must make a good follow-up of everything that this new currency will represent in the future, as we all know facebook has a global reach.

First, hellooo there! my dear @f21steem!
Second, Everything sound wonderful about the new invention of creating an economic system out of nothing to help people who don't have a bank account or don't have the economic means, as FB indicated in an article I read.
Is it re-inventing the wheel?
Where have I heard that same phrase?.... Oh Yeah! it is the original concept of Bitcoin, blockchain, and crypto assets! I feel like the meme of the old Willy Wonka (Really? Please, tell me more Facebook)
It's just my opinion. It's nothing personal. I love your mentioning me in your articles so I can read you.
By the way, it is not at all strange that Russia finally begins to accept cryptocurrencies other than Libra. Coincidence or are they foreseeing what is coming.
Russia to legalize digital assets, excludes Facebook’s Libra

Dear @f21steem
I only had a chance to read your publication a moment ago. It's quite clear to me that FB and their Libra is attracting attention worldwide. Recently it's a very hot topic :)
I'm wondering how much data will we have to share with FB in order to create account in their digital wallet. You say that "Calibra does not mix personal data on Facebook with Libra transactions" - but how can we be sure?
After all that would be very tempting for them, wouldn't it?
ps. any idea if one need to purchase Bitcoin first and then exchange it to Libra on some exchanges? Or can Libra be directly purchased with FIAT?
Yours
Piotr
