This shows the drop off plainly, @whatsup. Yes, we have lost small accounts all year. Our 95% kill rate is easy to see on @arcange's reports too.
But the last two weeks have seen major carnage for small accounts even as the big accounts grew stronger and $20 posts bumped up to $35. Go you! It's very inspiring for little people to see.
95% kill rate. Again inaccurate. There is no reasonable expectation to assume all created accounts were created to blog, there are testing accounts, accounts that have been blacklisted. It's the only wallet we have as well. I agree that we have lost valuable creators, but the spin isn't helping you or Steem.
I understand that you are frustrated. I am not in the top 200 wellpaid authors, despite getting in the top 10 engagement each day. Three years, constant engagement, almost no powerdowns. I too spoke out about the dangers of this HF. :)
Not sure why I am the target of your frustration, but I'm not going to take it personally either.
Also at this point I'm going to stop engaging in this conversation and I wish you the best. I hope you find a way to make it work for you, but I do not feel that is my responsibility.

I am not frustrated. I personally am doing much better. But while talking with you @whatsup, I have also been in two discord conversations. One person is leaving for good and wanted to know how to set up an exchange account since she has never taken money out before. The other needs to power down for an unexpected bill and wants to know how to do that.
We have had something like 1.3 million accounts created and now have less than 8000 people who post and have accounts of any value at all. What is the kill rate if not 95%?
I have already found a way for this to work for me - it's the new and little fish that are my concern.
