Well some are against them, others are in favor. I do belong to the second group! The more dapps on the steem blockchain the better! For sure if they all offer services to a wide spread group of people!

But I am a gambler! Not a big one, but I am one! And I do play 3 different dice games on the blockchain! Also with the idea to make a profit, but we all know that the house mostly wins.
But which of the dice games is my favorite and why?

I this article I will try to compare magicdice, steem-bet, epicdice and kryptogamers!
All have their pros and cons.
But most important all seem legit, which is the utmost important thing!
Some do have side games and others are preparing them! Also let's be honest and mistakes are made by those people. Starting up a business and having everything in order from the first time is hard! Very hard!

Wallet

All dice games are connected to the Steem blockchain via or Steemconnect or Keychain!
Here the best out of the tests are magicdice and kryptogamers. Both have and steemconnect and Keychain implemented. Which makes it possible to also play these games on a mobile device, for which the keychain is not ready yet!
Steem-bet and Epicdice do require you to use the Chrome browser and Keychain add-on!

I do find Keychain a great way of placing the bets, but only implementing Keychain is a loss of possibility to keep people gambling!

Lay-out & Functionality

Well I have to be honest and the dice game which I do play the least maybe has the slickest interface! This is Epicdice!
But I do guess this is a personal preference. So like the other combination colors better! But the interface of epicdice looks more natural!

The interfaces also did reveal something else! 3 out of the 4 dice games do offer the possibility to gamble with Steem and SBD. Only the dice game of @kryptogamers is staying behind here! They only support bets in steem!

But @magicdice has something to offer which the other are clearly lacking! Something which gives Magicdice a big advantage over the others! All dice games do offer the possibility of bet on the Under! But Magicdice also offers the possibility to bet on the over! This gives the player more freedom and an illusions that it can influence the games. For instance after 5 under rolls, he now really want to bet the over! The players of the other dice games don't have that possibility!

Also all games do offer to see the latest bets/rolls of all players and a private page with your own latest bets!

Odds

Well odds it is all about the odds! Take a closer looks at the previous and do you notice something?
Yes, 3 of the 4 dices games do have the same odds!
Let's take the Under 50 for example, MagicDice, Steem-bet and Epic dice do show a probablity of 49% and odds of 2! But what about kryptogamers. Also here the probability is 49% but the odds are way better! The odds they offer are 2.02! This can make a difference for the player between a winning and losing evening!

But they even go a little bit further! Suppose you do want to play with the highest probability. Keepings you busy as long as possible!
All games, besides, the dice game of Kryptogamers, do allow you to bet the under 95, with a probabilty of 94%. The odds for this are with Epicdice and Magicdice 1.043 and for Steem-bet 1.042.
But the dice game of Kryptogamers will offer you odds of 1.053! That is a huge difference! Not only that they even let you place a bet on the under 96! This has a win chance of 95% and odds of 1.042!

Dividends

Most of us do play the game trying to earn some extra steem and along the way to build up a stake in the game!

Magicdice

Magicdice here had the early bird advantage! They already had to decrease the distribution rate. For each steem wagered you will get 25 MAGIC tokens. They do promise that Magic will be available as SMT, once this feature is available on the steem blockchain! Magicdice also pays out the dividens on a daily basis!

steem-bet

Also on steem-bet you can play and mine some SBT tokens. But they made a huge mistake. After that people were already mining they decided to multiply the available tokens with 5! They were unaware that this would upset people! They forget that people do look at how many stakes they have in the game based on all available tokens and not on the tokens which were already distributed!
All solution is on it's way! There were some friendly discussion together with some key players and an agreement is pretty close!

For the moment you can still earn 50 SBT per steem wagered! But there are some differences with MagicDice. In contrast to MagicDice you do need to stake the earned SBTs to be eligible for dividens! You can only stake 1000 SBT or more at one! So you will have to at least wager 20 steem before you can stake! The other difference is that they only start paying out the divs when 220,000,000 SBTs are mined! At the moment only a little below 30,000,000 are distributed! So if you want, you are still early in the game!

Epicdice

Doesn't have a own token, not does it pay out dividends yet! At least not to my knowledge!

Kryptogamers dice games

Well there are plans for dividens but they aren't yet in place. For the moment you can already pre-mine. For each steem wagered you will get 100 GAMERS coins. These gamer coins will be available on steem-engine and also they do promise to set them up as an SMT, when this feature is available!
On top of that you can earn more GAMER coins. Untill the coin is released you will get 10% extra on top of the earned coins as early bird advantage!
Besides that they do have a membership ranking. Depending the amount of steem wagered you do belong to a special club. From the copper club on you will get 5% extra gamers coins, if you are a member of the Platinum club you earning of gamer coins will be doubled!

Extra's

All games are trying to offer something extra so that people keep on playing!
At Magicdice it is a daily leaderboard which could earn some extra Magic and more or less the same principle for Epicdice.

But the best extra, for personal, is the blackjaack which Kryptogamers are offering! I love to play blackjack!

My favorite!

Like written in the beginning of the article, they all have pro's and cons but my favorites are Steem-bet and for sure Kryptogamers!
Kryptogamers does win overall becuase they also have blackjack, they have a membership format and most important the best odds on the steem blockchain! Besides all that I can play it on the laptop and mobile!
