Pokemon Go: Last Chance to Get Armored Mewtwo

A couple of weeks ago, Niantic surprised the community with the release of a unique form of Mewtwo. The Mewtwo was launched with an armor that made it look pretty intimidating and cool. It also made it available to battle in normal Legendary Raid Battles instead of the EX Raid battles originally set for Mewtwo.

The move was unexpected as other than Shiny forms, Raid bosses had not seen different forms. Only Squirtle (sunglasses), Pikachu (a number of hats) and Eevee (flowers) have received different forms in the past in game. I think that it was a cool addition as it made me go out and Raid again with some local community members.

While it did seem like a plug to fill in the gap experienced in Raid content, I think it was also welcomed for those who had missed out on previous opportunities to capture a Mewtwo which I think continues to be ine of the most powerful Pokemon in the game currently despite being Generation One. The chance to get will end this week, July 31st so make sure you get out and catch them all!
