Abu Mas'ud [Al-Ansari] said: "I was beating a slave of mine and I heard someone behind me saying: 'Beware O Abu Mas'ud! Beware O Abu Mas'ud!' So I turned around and saw that it was the Messenger of Allah. He said: 'Allah has more power over you than you do over him." Abu Mas'ud said: "I have not beaten any slave of mine since then."

When we have power, we love to show it. It is happening at all the levels of our society. It is also found in the animals. When I was young, we had a few goats in our house, among them one was big and with strong horns. So whenever we used to feed them together, other goats wouldn't get the chance to eat. Others either had to wait till the big one left or we had to interfere.

Same things are found in our family or society or in this world which we love to call the global village. Who has super power, they can do anything whatever and whenever they want. In a country, politically powerful party enjoy all the benefits showing all the power they have. In a campus regarding student politics, the student party with higher power of members and guns, control the whole campus; killing the opposition party activists or beating and torturing them. In a family, the master has power over his servants and we find news on the abuse of power on the servants as well.

Our servants are just another human being, not an animal. But unfortunately, sometimes we forget that. We put them in such a difficult situation that they can't carry out the order or complete task. We become furious on them and start beating them. We think ourselves the most powerful being that moment. We forget that there is something more powerful who is constantly watching us and He will deal with us accordingly.

Above above hadith just teach us that we are not the ultimate powerful creatures. And we are not beyond the judgement. In the judgement day, we will be asked about our every actions in this world. No bribe or recommendation will work there. We need to change ourselves when there is still time!

its truth when human got power they use it in a wrong way. I love those examples you have writtien. But fact is strong always try to take control over weak which is bad. Human got chance to use their power in proper place but they didn't.There are lots of examples around us.Yes , we always talk about not to use power in a wrong way but u know who cares... nice post.

Yes. it is really a problem in our society right now. It needs to be changed but the rate of declining the morality is very fast. I don't see any hope.
