Just be firm, but fair; and they will do well. A parents job is hard, if you do a good job, your kids will NOT need you!
The gem in this is that when they come back, it is because they WANT TO, and not because they have too. That is great reward....

Yeah, but in our culture mostly kids live with their parents and in some cases even after their marriage they all live together. But, yes, if the kids are living separately and they visit their parents because they want to is a good feel rather than if they visit only because they have to. That is a valid point sir Smithlabs

Over here they usually live in different cities so one is 40 miles away and one is probably a hundred miles away.
That way when they do come visit it's nice it's a lot of fun! Right now I'm trying to get my son to come over and visit; then we'll go to the gun range, and try out a new rifle he has. That should be a fun afternoon!
