Walter Sangit is better known for its stinging smell. Slim insects with this long antenna can attack the grain during the cooking phase or cook milk.

His attack by piercing and sucking the grain of rice, so it becomes empty. The strained rice will leave a yellow stain and can be sucked many times until it turns brown.

Walang sangit including pest heavy destroyers, can produce 200-300 eggs placed on the leaf surface in groups. After 5-8 days, the egg will hatch into nymph.
