Howdy sir Vincent! I'm sorry your dinner plans got canceled, so you were stuck at home with your sister and brother or did they go out? I don't get the big deal, I think it's just another excuse to party.

We don't have any family in Texas. I have brothers and a sister in Kansas, Mrs. J has family in Ohio, her daughter and we have 2 grandsons there, 21 and 18.

    Indeed, it's no big deal. It is just another day. My brother was out. I watched the countdown on TV with my sister.

      haha! I bet that was so exciting for you guys! I'm thrilled for you! lol...no I'm teasing. sarcasm..I didn't even realize what time it was while I was commenting on steemit last night until the fireworks started. Even though we live way out in the country there are still lots of neighbors who do fireworks big time. Jack can't handle them, he came and got under my desk against my legs.
