Ownership of firearms among businessmen and politicians is inseparable from the cheapness of license fees in the police. How much does it cost? Here's the list.
Head of Public Relations Division of Police Insp. Gen. Saud Usman Nasution explained that the rules of firearms license are listed in Law No. 2 of 2002 on Police. As for the cost of licensing is regulated in Government Regulation number 50 of 2010 on types and tariffs on non-tax state revenue applicable to the police of the Republic of Indonesia.
Since the beginning of 2012, the National Police has recorded that there are about 18,030 licenses of firearms to civilians. This is only natural, considering the application fee is not too expensive, ranging from Rp 200 thousand to Rp 1 million.
