My entry for today's #colourfulphotography of @juliank is a photo of this shark nursery in San Diego Sea World. How pretty is that colorful coral?

I'm not sure what type of shark pups these are, but I remember thinking they looked much smaller than what I imagined shark babies would look.

Shark pups are fully independent from the moment they’re born or hatch, and swim away immediately to find food and to avoid being eaten by their mother. Source
