This flower can only be found in upland areas, such as in mountainous areas of Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, and Lombok. Edelweis flowers can only grow in place with full sunlight.
but did you know that Edelweis is actually a Leontopodium flower that can only be found in the Alps. Edelweis that grows apart in the Alps is actually just a flower petals. because the real part of the flower is a yellow powder that within 1-3 days after the bloom will fall out and leave only the flower petals. Well, this flower petals are often taken by the climbers and cultivated by the surrounding community.
