“Connecting Threads” a sonnet

Many threads connect us, in many ways.

Cultures, heritages and genetics,
Become the environment of the day.
Ecological change is frenetic.

So many threads connecting, unraveling;
The fabric is becoming much weaker.
Try to be more caring in your traveling;
Care for the world, ‘ere it becomes bleaker.

We share so many things, like where we live.
Why can’t we see our similarities,
Rather than fight over our differences?
When the house burns, we’ll all live barrenly.

“Bare is the back without Brother”
Is an old saying that should bother.
