**KOMPAS.com - HTC memamerkan sebuah smartphone baru bernama Exodus, yang dibekali dengan teknologi blockchain. Sayangnya perusahaan asal Taiwan ini masih belum memberikan informasi yang jelas terkait smartphone tersebut.
Informasi yang ada menyebut bahwa HTC Exodus dirancang sebagai smartphone pelengkap ekosistem blockchain. Di dalamnya diisi berbagai aplikasi serta teknologi keamanan khusus.
Beberapa di antaranya adalah Decentralized Applications (DApps), yakni aplikasi yang berjalan dalam jaringan komputer peer-to-peer (P2P); Universal Wallet; penyimpanan data serta identitas dalam smartphone; serta memfungsikan smartphone menjadi salah satu node dalam rantai blockchain.
"Kami sangat senang karena Exodus akan mendukung berbagai protokol dasar Bitcoin, Lightning Networks, Ethereum, Dfinity dan lainnya," ujar Founder Headset VR HTC Vive, Phill Chen, sebagaimana dilansir KompasTekno dari The Next Web, Kamis (17/5/2018).
