[Cockatoo's daily life] Boost your postings! eSteem Surfer Desktop App Review

Hello everyone! This is Cockatoo (@kitalee).

These days, I've been fascinated by the fun of getting to know the platform of Steemit and communicating with the Steemians in the community, so I'm holding on to Steemit whenever I have a chance.

Then, I happened to find an application called "eSteem Surfer", which I installed and used out of curiosity. And I'd like to share a brief and shallow review that I've been using for days.

Then I will explain based on desktop apps installed.
After installation, users are asked to enter the PIN number for the first time. By setting this up, only those who know this number will be able to access the app.

After setting the PIN number, click the top right icon as shown to open the login window. Login is also possible through "steem connect".

Once you've logged in, you can see the screen below. The function of the logo in the upper left hand corner is the same as the Steem logo, which redirects to the main page. In the upper right corner, buttons are placed for overall control of the app.

Theme (day/night), Monetary unit/Language setting, Point (ESTM), Wallet, Activity histories, and more

I prefer to use a dark theme screen as shown.

And one of the benefits of this application is that you can always check your steem power at the bottom of the screen. So now you don't have to go back and forth to "https://steemd.com/@account" to check your steam power.

Now, let's go inside the menu. Press the "Point" button on the red box and you can see the screen below.
Inside the blue box on the left, you can check your account information such as Reputation, Steem Power, Post Count, Account Creation Date.

In the middle of the screen, you can see the total "ESTM" points you have acquired so far. There are eight ways to earn this point:

1. Get 1 point every day on every 100SP lease
2. Get 15 points every time you post through this app
3. Get 5 points for each comment.
4. Get points for each vote (0.01 X voting weight)
5. Get 1 point for each lease team
6. Periodically obtain 0.25 points when checked in to the app.
7. Get 100 points when logging in with the eSteem App
8. Win more than 10 points if you use the app continuously

The history of points obtained in the lower green box can be checked. The top of the item "Points for heartbeat : 0.25" corresponds to #6 above. I can make sure I get it every 15 minutes.

Okay! Then how can I use this point? The answer is right down in the red box.

First, it's to give it to someone as a gift. This is not the answer we want. Haha :)
Second, it's used to Promote someone's post. (promoted to all eSteem users)
Thirdly, it's used to Boost someone's post. (get votes corresponding to the points set)

Let's go straight to the second Promote link.

Enter the target user ID in the "User" field and click "Post" field to see the list posted. And through Duration's slide bar, you can set the promotional period on a daily basis. It takes "250 ESTM" to choose 2 days.

Next, this is the Boost link.

You can fill it in the same way as Promote section and then specify the Amount to get the corresponding voting. With my 400 ESTM, I can do about $0.79.

In fact, I haven't been able to use Promote and Boost feature because I don't have enough points. After this post, I'll post about them shortly.

Now, this is the screen when you press the Wallet icon. The section on the left is the same, but this time the contents of the wallet are clearly well organized. The difference with the standard Steemit here is that you can see the price of STEEM/STEEM DOLLAR in real time!

Then click on the "Bell" icon and a vertical bar will pop out from the right side as shown below.
There are two tabs. First one is to check your activities by category. For personal information, I copied & pasted with my profile picture.

Press the second tab "Leaderboard" to display the leaderboard of the most active eSteem app users as shown below. But I'm not on the list. :(

Finally, when you click the rightmost profile picture button, the menu bar appears on the right. The remarkable features that are differentiated here would be Boomarks and Drafts!

Generally, I believe that Steemit does not have bookmarking but only Re-steem. (If I am mistaken, please correct it in the comments. ^^;) However, in this app, when you click on the red square box icon below and you can check your bookmarks at any time via the yellow box link on the right menu bar.

Bookmarked articles can be found in keywords as shown below!

In addition, the Draft feature allows you to see the articles saved during writing.

Finally, let's check the posting function.

What's special about this is that it provides a list of tags. So if you can't remember any tag names well, you can use it to get help. And you can schedule the posting time, as you expected, by using Schedule functionality at the bottom. I haven't used it, but it asked for my "master key" to use.

Finally, the Save Draft button in the lower right corner allows you to save the text in the middle of the writing, do something else for a while, and then continue writing after you return to the storage point.
