Pengertian Hidayah
Kata Hidayah adalah dari bahasa Arab atau bahasa Al-Qur’an yang telah menjadi bahasa Indonesia. Akar katanya ialah : hadaa, yahdii, hadyan, hudan, hidyatan, hidaayatan. Khusus yang terakhir, kata hidaayatan kalau wakaf (berhenti) di baca : Hidayah, nyaris seperti ucapan bahasa Indonesia. Hidayah secara bahasa berarti petunjuk. Lawan katanya adalah : “Dholalah” yang berarti “kesesatan”. Secara istilah (terminologi), Hidayah ialah penjelasan dan petunjuk jalan yang akan menyampaikan kepada tujuan sehingga meraih kemenangan di sisi Allah. Allah berfirman yang artinya:
“Mereka itulah yang tetap mendapat petunjuk dari Tuhan Pencipta mereka, dan (sebab itu) merekalah orang-orang yang sukses.” (Q.S. Al-Baqarah: 5)
Semoga kita semua mendapat hidayah dan selamat dunia akhirat amiiin.
