Thirumala Thirupati

Sri Balaji temple Thirumala Thirupati of Lord Venkateshwara is one of the most important religious heritage of Hiduism. The King Thondaiman Tamil ruler of Thondaimandalam kingdom was built the first temple in Thirumala, Tirupathi after the dream of Lord Vishnu. The temple has amazing architectures of Dravidan culture.

The temple is also known as Seven hills temple because it is surrounded by seven hills such as Seshadri, Garudari, Neelathri, Anjanaithari, Vrishabhadri, Narayanathri and Venkatadr.

Thirumala, Thirupati is one of the world famous pilgrim of Hindus, Million of devotees visits daily to this temple and donates money and valuable jewels. Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanam(TTD) administers the administration of the temple, It was in the Madras government in 1932. Then Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam(TTD) was started in 1933.

Laddu(sweet) is offered to the devotees as the holy presentation of this temple.

Everyday, devotees offer free food and accommodation at low rentals. One of the celebration Brahmmotsavam takes place annually for nine days, mean while million of people visits here to worship the Lord Venkateswara, mean while chariot festival also celebrated.
